Role of Parents
There is clear evidence that students are more successful if parents and carers are actively involved in their education. North Walsham High School parents and carers are kept fully informed about progress, attendance, rewards and sanctions via e-portal, our on-line information system.
We ask that parents and carers help by supporting and following the school rules, demanding high standards of behaviour, attendance and uniform, maintaining close contact with the school, particularly with information relating to students’ well being, and by attending Subject Consultation Evenings.
We have an active Parents’ Forum group (see Parents’ Calendar for dates of meetings) which plays an important part in deciding how the school is run. Please contact us if you would like to find out more. If you have issues or ideas you would like discussed at Parents’ Forum but are unable to attend you can email us firstname.lastname@example.org
Dates of Parents’ Forum are:
Wednesday 5th October @ 6.45pm
All meetings take place in the Atrium Theatre.
