As part of the catch up strategy students follow a programme (one hour per week) of intervention which will cover the core skills within numeracy and/or literacy.

The progress of students involved will be closely monitored to ensure that an expected level of progress is maintained. Students who make limited progress, or those who do not maintain an expected level of progress, will complete a further intervention programme. The nature of this will depend any needs identified.
